"Gift"
Just a smile...
but it can softena heart
as hard as a rock.
Just a tune...
but it can delight a soul
as deep as sorrow.
Just a help...
but it can brighten a life
as dard as pitch.
Just a few words...
but it can cheer up a mind
as heavy as lead.
Just a presence...
but it can enliven a situation
as silent as the dead.
So... why not have a go
before it's too late.
